Come play in Palm Springs

Palm Springs – America’s Great Gay Oasis in Southern California – has been a perennial favorite destination for gay visitors, but recently it has seen a resurgence and been dubbed  “a new Gay Mecca.”  Greater Palm Springs has more gay-owned and gay-friendly restaurants, nightclubs, hotels, retailers and other businesses than most other popular gay destinations.

Also, the small city boasts a very large and diverse gay resident population (about 40%), and has become a prime travel destination from the West coast (Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle), Midwest, Northeast, Southwest, as well as internationally. More and more LGBT travelers from the Pacific Rim, Europe and South America are discovering Palm Springs’ gay-friendly spirit.

Why is Palm Springs so appealing to couples, friends and families?  They travel here for the LGBT events, of course, but also for the sunny climate, relaxation, fine dining, shopping, golfing, clubbing and a plethora of outdoor activities.  It’s a great destination during the annual events like Pride and the Dinah Shore Weekend, but also any time you want to getaway to a desert oasis and experience a hip  Gay California Mecca.
